Saint Michael's Adoration Chapel, Inniskeen

Saint Michael’s adoration chapel in Inniskeen, which was purpose-built for Eucharistic Adoration first opened in 2016. Administered by Father Martin Treanor and funded by its parishioners, the adoration chapel is adjoined to Mary, Mother of Mercy Church, and elegantly constructed in keeping with the magnificent sailboat features of the main church.

The adoration chapel is dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel with a grand statue of the Archangel overlooking the Chapel. This very modern and peaceful place of worship has its own tabernacle, altar, and pulpit, along with good heating during the cold winter months. Eucharistic Adoration here is very well attended and takes place on a weekly basis.

Eucharistic Adoration Days and Times

Eucharistic Adoration takes place in St Michael’s Adoration Chapel each Wednesday beginning at 10am and finishing at 9pm. Adoration also takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. In order to have a constant vigil of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament a minimum of four people are assigned to one hour each week. Everyone is welcome to attend.

  • Wednesdays: 10am – 9pm.
  • Tuesdays: 7pm – 9pm.
  • Thursdays: 7pm – 9pm.

During your hour you can sit peacefully, read, rest, or pray – each person can spend their hour as they wish. The most important thing is to be with Jesus, who is truly present, body, blood, soul, and divinity. Just as we can’t be exposed to the sun without feeling the effect of its rays, nor can we be exposed to Jesus during adoration without feeling the effects of His grace.
